As a guest, you are responsible for all charges incurred during your stay. This includes room charges, taxes, and any additional fees. By providing a credit card for payment, you authorize us to charge the card for all incurred expenses. This includes charges for the room, taxes, and any incidental purchases. Should the indicated person, company, or association fail to settle the full amount owed, you agree to assume personal liability.
Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. Failure to vacate the room by the designated time may result in additional charges. If you are not present in the room at check-out time, hotel staff are authorized to remove your belongings. We will not be liable for any damage or loss incurred during this process. An additional charge may be applied for late check-out or if belongings need to be removed from the room.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in non-smoking rooms and indoor public areas. This includes smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, water pipes, marijuana, and burning candles. Guests found smoking in non-smoking areas will be subject to a $500 cleaning fee. Pets are not permitted on the premises unless prior consent is obtained from hotel staff. Unauthorized pet presence will incur a $100/day cleaning fee. We only authorize dogs as pets in designated pet-friendly rooms. To book a pet-friendly room, please visit our website (www.perthplaza.ca) and select a pet-friendly room. Rooms booked through other websites will not be authorized for pet exceptions under any circumstances. Other rooms are not pet-friendly. The hotel reserves the right to deny pets if they are not booked in a pet-friendly room.
Any damage to the room or hotel property, as well as missing items, will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your security deposit. Guests are encouraged to report any damages or issues with their room to the front desk immediately upon discovery.
If you choose to use a debit card for payment, please be aware that the hotel will collect a refundable deposit of $200 for any incidental charges beyond the room and tax at the time of check-in. This deposit will be refunded upon check-out during regular business hours, provided no outstanding charges or damages exist. If guests check out outside of business hours, the deposit will be refunded by e-transfer or guests can come back during regular business hours to collect their deposit.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book a room and must provide valid identification upon arrival.
A 48-hour notice is required to cancel reservations. If you booked the room less than 48 hours before your arrival date, it is a non-cancellable room. Room cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date to avoid charges. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will result in a charge equivalent to one night's stay. No-shows will be charged the full amount of their reservation. Reservations made through third-party websites must be canceled through the same platform.
Check-in time is 1:30 p.m. Guests are required to provide a valid photo ID and a valid credit card at check-in.
We accept all major credit cards (AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover), cash, Interac, e-transfers, and debit cards for payment. We may charge your credit card 24 to 48 hours before your arrival date. If you wish to use a different credit card than the one on file, please provide the new card details at least 7 days before your arrival. If your card information changes for any reason after making the reservation, it is the guest's responsibility to update their credit card information. Failure to provide a valid credit card on file may result in the cancellation of your hotel reservation. The hotel may hold a $200 deposit on a credit card for incidentals if necessary.
Guests staying in suites with kitchen facilities are expected to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Please wash all pots and pans before check-out, use the exhaust fan while cooking, and remove any perishable food items from the refrigerator.
A charge of $25 + tax will be applied to your credit card if the room key is not returned at check-out.
To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, please keep noise levels to a minimum after 10:00 p.m.
Guests are not permitted to exceed the declared room capacity without prior consent from hotel staff. Floor mattresses are available upon request for an additional charge of $25/day + tax, subject to availability. Please let the hotel know in advance before your arrival.
