Yes. Booking directly with us means no third-party booking fees, and we can always offer our best available rate when you book on perthplaza.ca rather than through an OTA like Expedia or Booking.com.
Absolutely. With 26 rooms across 9 configurations, we can usually accommodate a sizeable group. If you're planning a wedding, see our wedding accommodation page for a dedicated enquiry form, or just contact us directly for any other group booking.
Yes, just get in touch by phone or email as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate the change, subject to availability. If you booked through a third-party site (Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.), changes need to be made through that site rather than directly with us.
Of course, we're happy to answer any questions about your stay. For changes or cancellations to the reservation itself, though, those need to go through the site where you originally booked, since that's where the booking is held.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is from 1:30 PM. If you're likely to arrive earlier, give us a call — we'll get you in as soon as your room is ready if at all possible.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability and approval in advance.
Valid photo identification and the credit card used to book, please. Guests must be 18 or older to book and check in.
If you know you'll be arriving outside normal hours, please call ahead and let us know — we'll make sure check-in goes smoothly whenever you get here.
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before arrival are free of charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours ahead are charged one night's stay, and no-shows are charged in full. Full details are on our motel policy page.

Cancellations made 48+ hours before arrival are not charged at all. Inside that window, one night is charged to the card on file; the rest of the stay is not.
Payments & Deposits
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash, Interac, and e-transfer. We do not currently accept Discover.
Your card on file is typically charged 24–48 hours before arrival, not at the time of booking. No charge is made the moment you book online.
A $200 refundable deposit is collected at check-in if you're paying by cash or debit — refunded at check-out provided there's no outstanding charges. If you're paying by credit card, no separate cash deposit is needed, since the card on file can be charged directly for any damages instead.
Yes — just let us know the new card details at least 7 days before arrival so we can update your reservation.
Rooms & Amenities
It depends on the room — our standard rooms sleep 2, and our larger rooms (Two Queens, Kitchen Suites) sleep up to 4. Check availability with your exact guest count and we'll only show rooms that fit your group.
Yes, we have Kitchen Suites with a stovetop, fridge, and cookware — great for longer stays or families. See our room types for details.
Yes, free high-speed WiFi is included throughout the property at no extra cost, with Ethernet ports also available in every room.
Yes, roll-away beds are available on request for $25/day + tax, subject to availability and space in the room — please arrange this in advance of your stay.
All rooms are ground-floor with drive-up parking directly outside, so there are no stairs or elevators to navigate. If you have specific accessibility needs, please call ahead and we'll help find the best fit.
Yes, every room is air conditioned.
Pets & Smoking
We have designated pet-friendly rooms, bookable directly through perthplaza.ca. Please let us know you're travelling with a pet when you book so we can assign the right room — a pet fee may apply.
A $100/day cleaning fee applies if a pet is brought into a room not booked as pet-friendly. It's easy to avoid — just book one of our designated pet-friendly rooms from the start.
No, Perth Plaza is a smoke-free property — this includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes/vapes, and cannabis. A $500 cleaning fee applies to any violation.
