Motel Policy & Terms

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: 1:30 PM. A valid photo ID and credit card are required at check-in.
• Check-out: 11:00 AM. Belongings left in the room after check-out may be removed by staff; we are not liable for any damage or loss during this process. Late check-out may incur an additional charge if approved in advance.

Age Requirements

Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book a room, and must provide valid photo identification upon arrival.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival, by email to info@perthplaza.ca or by phone at 613‑264‑1022.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will be charged one night's stay.
• No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
• Reservations made through third-party sites (Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.) must be cancelled directly on the site where the booking was made. The same 48-hour policy applies to these bookings as it does to reservations made on perthplaza.ca.

Forms of Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash, Interac, and e-transfer.

For card payments, your card may be charged 24–48 hours before arrival. If you wish to use a different card than the one provided at booking, please share the new details at least 7 days before arrival — it's your responsibility to keep your payment details up to date. A reservation without a valid card on file may be cancelled.

Security Deposit

A $200 refundable deposit is collected at check-in for any guest paying by cash or debit. This deposit is held to cover incidentals and is refunded at check-out, provided there are no outstanding charges or damages. If you check out outside of regular business hours, your deposit will be refunded by e-transfer, or you're welcome to return during business hours to collect it in person.

If you're paying by credit card, no separate cash deposit is required — your card on file may instead be charged directly for any damages, missing items, or other charges outlined below.

Smoking, Vaping & Pets

• Perth Plaza is a smoke-free property. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, water pipes, marijuana, and burning candles. Any violation will result in a $500 cleaning fee charged to the card on file.
• Pets are not permitted unless your room is specifically booked as pet-friendly through perthplaza.ca. Pet-friendly bookings made on other sites are not eligible for pet exceptions. Bringing a pet into a non-pet-friendly room will result in a $100/day cleaning fee.

Room Capacity & Roll-Away Beds

Guests may not exceed the declared occupancy for their room without prior consent from motel staff, and floor sleeping is not permitted. A roll-away bed (or, where space is limited, a floor mattress) is available on request for $25/day + tax, subject to availability — please arrange this in advance of your stay. Only one roll-away is permitted per room, space permitting.

Kitchen Use

If your room includes a kitchen, please wash all pots and pans before check-out, run the exhaust fan while cooking, and remove any food from the fridge — simply leave it as you found it.

Lost Keys

A $25 + tax charge will be applied to the card on file if your room key is not returned at check-out.

Noise

To keep things relaxing for everyone, please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

Room Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning

Guests are responsible for any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required after their stay. Charges are based on the cost to repair or replace the item, plus a $50/hour labour fee where applicable. Please let the front desk know right away if anything is broken or goes missing during your stay — we'd rather hear it from you first.
